BASICS
Tempelhof is located 4 miles (6 km) south of the center of Berlin. The German-only airport Web site has limited information available, but you can access:
TAXI
It's a short, 15-minute taxi ride to the center of Berlin. The fare will come to about 16 deutsche mark ($9).
TRAIN
Catch the U-Bahn line U6 at the Platz der Luftbrucke station. You'll be dropped off right in the center of town at the Fredrichstrasse Station. Fare is 3.50 deutsche mark ($2), and the trip takes less than 10 minutes. You can see the station on the airport map (click on "Wegweiser & Parken") above.
BUS
Number 119 departs from the airport four or five times an hour and runs along the Kurfurstendamm to the Zoo station in about 25 minutes. Fare is about 3.50 deutsche mark ($2).
RENTAL CAR
Avis, Europcar/Interrent, Hertz, Sixt-Budget, and others are located at Tempelhof.
